Type 2 Diabetes is a serious condition and when left unchecked or undiagnosed becomes a serious health threat.

Quick look without getting to technical:

Your Fat cells have much fewer insulin receptors than muscle cells.
Your Fat cells release (FFAs) free fatty acids, and (FFAs) free fatty acids interfere with glucose metabolism.

When You Have excess glucose that is not needed by the cells for energy it is stored as body fat.
In overweight people insulin production is steadily increased due to the increased cellular mass that the pancreas is trying to “feed” via insulin.

When you become obese or overweight the way insulin works in your body is affected. Extra fat tissue can make your body resistant to the action of insulin and your body becomes insulin resistant.

Insulin resistance is a silent condition that increases the chances of developing diabetes and heart disease.
