Lose Weight with a Low Fat - High Fiber Diet

Sick of the bellyfat and fat thighs and weight issues?

Then Learn ………………

You want to go on a diet, but you have no idea which one to go on. In general, you prefer a diet where you can eat the foods you like without having to read a book and study up on some diet fad. If this sounds like you then you might like the low fat, high fiber diet. This is a great diet to go on because it allows you to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables as well as lean meats and other low fat foods.

This diet, too, has been determined by researchers to result in personal satisfaction where other diets do not as much. That is something to keep in mind. There are some great benefits to this diet, too, like reduced risk of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and even some types of cancer.

Servings Yourself A Dab Of Trouble

When you go on a low fat, high fiber diet you may not know exactly what you should be eating. In general, you should only get 20 percent of your calories from fat. Additionally, every 1000 calories consumed should be accompanied by 18 grams of fiber in addition to three and a half servings of fruit and vegetables.

Most people end up eating five to eight servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
You can begin eating a low fat, high fiber diet by choosing a breakfast cereal or oatmeal that is low in fat and high in fiber.

There are plenty on the market that have added fiber, so check those out. Eat with fat free milk to save some fat and calories. Have a mid-morning snack of some carrots or a piece of low fat or fat free cheese in addition to an apple or half an orange. Lunch may be a green salad with grilled chicken and a light dressing. Finally, dinner should be a grilled or broiled lean meat with vegetables.

Buttering You Up Is Ok Only If It’s Flattery

Steer clear of butter or condiments high in fat. It may take you some time to reprogram yourself and your eating habits, but in time you will be able to do so. Additionally, you will reap major health benefits while losing weight.

All you have to do is top this way of eating off with weekly exercise and you will whip yourself into shape and good health in no time.

This is a great post, in fact I’m in dire need of inspiration and help when it comes to my diet. I live and breathe Dr. Pepper and Starbucks, coupled with cigarettes and sitting all day and night programming websites and helping others with their blogs. As you might imagine, I’m sitting all day long, literally.

Perhaps this is exactly what I need to get that ball rolling and get my middle back…Thanks!

I haven’t tried this yet but a friend of mine spoke highly about it. I believe it sounds like an easier diet plan than the last one I tried. I lost a little weight but need to lose more.

Excellent article on weight loss alternatives. I will put some of these ideas into my journal and track the effects daily. Hopefully this will prove to be the plan that I need to shed the pounds I have gained since my pregnancy.

Its been almost 1 1/2 years since the birth of my daughter and I am still trying to get by old shape back and get rid of the extra weight I put on. Almost there though only about 20 pounds to go, but they seem the most resistant.
